Hello Xiao Yu,Welcome to the BF, I am sure that you will enjoy your stay here.
Vancouver offers some good alternate places to play. Check out Collingwood
on Sundays 12 to 2.30pm. Usually have a good crowd, come early.
The sky train station is only 1/2 block to the gym.
Cheers

Take the Skytrain (Expo Line, not the Millenium Line). It's a direct route from Surrey. Get off at Joyce Station (a couple stops past Metrotown). Then walk one-half block south. It'll be on your left side. Cross-street Euclid and Joyce, opposite St. Mary's Church.

Careful she's from China and has played 8 times a week before, she might be making the guys run around

I had to think long and hard how to write that. I've played against 3 lady players before at Collingwood who literally RULED on the court, and I mean REALLY EFFORTLESSLY owned the court (a little running around though).
So I didn't rule out that xiao yu might be the fourth.

Welcome to the badminton community here in Vancouver, Canada. If you have time on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons, you are more than welcome to come and play at Britannia Community Services Centre. The Centre is open for badminton:
Friday evenings - 7:00pm - 10:00pm (3 hours) for $3.50
Saturday afternoons - 1:15pm - 5:00pm (4 hours) for $4.50
The address is 1661 Napier Street in Vancouver, you can simply take the Skytrain to Broadway station and take a bus Northbound from there to Venables. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me here.
