    Hi!

I am new here only one month. I am from Shenzhen city of china. I love badminton so much! I play 8 times for each week before. Sometimes. I had to run three courts in different area to play badminton. I want to say: I was so crazy for badminton before. Maybe I still keep a little bit. Everything here is still so strange for me. But I am so happy find such so wonderful place can find badminton friends. I live in surrey. I want to join the big badminton family. Welcome to contact me with the email address: xiaoyutortorelli@hotmail.com. I must say: I am not bad player! Let’s meet each other at the badminton court. I am waiting for you!

    ;)

With that reference to running around, I look at the shoes!

So I think Xiao Yu is either the one at the very end or the middle!

    Enjoy your stay in England.

Be sure to eat some strawberries. English ones are the best.. ;) IMO, of course.

I could be wrong - there is a surrey in canada as well. hahaha

More likely in Surrey, BC, Canada. If this is originally posted in the Canada West subforum.

Xiao Yu: Welcome to BF! If you're in Surrey, BC, where do you usually play? My guess is that you're the one in the middle front row holding the racquet upright:D.

Welcome to BF and more importantly, welcome to Canada. If you want, you are welcome to join as this Saturday evening (9pm onwards) at the Vancouver Racquets Club since it seems that we will have a mini-BF gathering

Oh, and what's the gym called? I know that there are number of highschool gyms rented by private groups. Also, one drop-in place in Surrey I know of is the Guildford Sport Complex.

    Hello xiaoyu.
welcome to Canada, Surrey and BF. You will find many new things in all these places, and you should have lots of fun.
the badrad family also lives in Surrey, but we all either play Vancouver or in Richmond. there are are only a limited number of places to play in Surrey that are acceptable level. Unfortunately many are school gyms, and are not in the best condition for playing, and with summer season all the schools are closed until September.
After you get your road test and new license, if you would like to try different places close to home, send me a PM, and i can send you a list of local places that might offer you some challenge.

Hello Xiao Yu,Welcome to the BF, I am sure that you will enjoy your stay here.
Vancouver offers some good alternate places to play. Check out Collingwood
on Sundays 12 to 2.30pm. Usually have a good crowd, come early.
The sky train station is only 1/2 block to the gym.

    Cheers
