    greetings guys and gals,

for all the people with wrist/hand injurys that havnt been to see a doctor/specialist then have you guys got any strengthing methods that you used to recover quicker ? of course rest is the main idea but i was thinking the use of one of those "stress balls" which you squeeze ? my thoughts were that as your squeezing the ball your tendons/muscles etc will be tightining strengthining your wrist. what are your thoughts

squeezing 'stressballs' wont strengthen the wrist. It will help improve your grip strength and also protect you from getting the tennis/golf elbow pain when u strenghten that upper part of the arm (observe wch part of your arm tenses up when you squeeze).

If you want to strenghten the wrists, wrist curls using dumbbells should be a better exercise. If you dont have dumbbells, you can still do it using improvised weights such as water bottles :)

hi fanatic, i had a wrist injury before that hurts so much, I couldnt even do a proper high serve or lob. all i did was just rest the wrist until it feels better and then start playing again. also i never forget to rotate the wrist clockwise and counterclockwise well before playing again as it seems that it gets injured whenever i don't warm it up using this method.
