i REALLY need a place to play over the summer :D

    hi every1 !!!! the summa is kinda borin and i want to make the most of it and play BADMINTON !!! does any1 know a place that i can play BESIDES mandarin or lees cuz u have to be an annual member apparently and u cannot join for just the summer :S also these places do not have drop in badminton :S i play every saturday at the YMCA, but it just isnt enough :S so does any1 know where i can play PLZ tell me !!! somewhere close to kennedy n steeles PLZ :D:D:D im a decent playa cuz i went to OFSAA this yr representin TDSSAA !!!! i think im ok hehe cuz i NEVER took any lessons b4 i just play :D:D:D:D so um anyways if any1 knows any places that would be great !!!

    George Brown College downtown plays Tues/Thurs/Sun as far as I know. Mind you, I was there about 4 yrs ago. The sessions are run by the GBC coach.

    For guest it is 7 dollars. For Tuesday and Thursday it is from 7:00-10:00. Sunday it is from 4:00-8:00.

    Just go there on tuesday, thursday or sunday. The guy running it is Kim Ng, really nice guy!:)

    Went along tonight. I had a lot of fun. Friendly people, and a good standard of play. As you said Kim is a wonderful guy!

    So hows the level of play there in your terms of skill? Do you find it average or above average?

    I think the play is average and some above... not too bad over all! Some players are pretty good though!:)

    Hey ronjonb! nice place eh? I saw you there yesterday, you're pretty good!!! ah I'm there with my gf so didn't really introduce myself... my gf is was yellow, pink! heh heh

    ehh, depends on where u live. There is a nice place to play at hurontario community center wednesday and friday from 7:30-10:00. It's about 5 bucks for a guest and the skill i a lot better than the YMCA most of the time. Just don't play with the shitty players there and you will have a good time. :)
