    The Sultan and Thai ex-VP cannot possibly play doubles immediately after the singles. Oh wait... why not? They can just bribe the opposing team into throwing their matches. Strategy huh? =P

    But dun forget, if Hendrawan retire n Taufik move on to another country,

    Their singles line-up will be severely weakened!
    I think they will lose 2-3 to every top teams (assuming their doubles are immortals!)

    And as if to prove the assumption wrong, Sigit/Candra have lost 9-15, 12-15 to Kim Dong Moon and Ha Tae Kwon. Don't get me wrong, I'm drowning my sorrows in drink while saying this.
