In doubles, when facing a left hander and a right hander I would normally smash to the center when their handedness are far apart (left hander on odd, right hander on even side). Would I still smash to the center if both players have their handedness close?

i normally would do what calvin suggested in singles but not in doubles, i mostly hit all my smashes down the middle or towards the tram lines.

However, the middle is a good place to target for some teams but again as Calvin said, never works with any good team.

but its quite funny what happens when you do it for a lefty and a righty down the middle when their rackets are both inside. not funny i guess but interesting. Their rackets clash together. When my partner and myself were playing against another college, i hit a smash down the middle and their rackets clashed and crumbled

tram lines will allow them to drive to the sides, allowing them to counterattack
