    fakes are fakes. there are many flavors.

    better to tell us more about the mp99 you are buying, including vendor, price, pictures, etc. we will tell you whether it is genuine or not.

    Also please do a search on the forum first. You'll actually find there was a previous post that had exactly this, a real MP99 next to a fake 99 for comparison. It may be buried within one of the many ebay fakes threads. Do some digging, it is there for sure.

    First and easiest way to check would be the serial number... should be laser etched.

    Second easiest way to check an mp99 for fakeness is the grommets. I would show you if i had a pic, but genuine mp99s have different grommets from almost all yonex rackets. watch out for zee grommets! :p

    Also check out for the MP bumps......make sure there there....and shiny RED! Not dull ..

    Go to a reputable store, and don't ever think u get a price somewhere of 10% as it's suppose to be is a "great discovery". :)

    guys..... just wanna where can i get fake mp99? ive got one already for p1500 but i can't find the shop anymore.... practice racket lang but i use Carb 20 from Singapore.....
