I've found over the forums tht karakal grips are really heavy
i'm scared tht it would effect the balance of racquets
    for example
an even balanced racquet might get effected by an heavy overgrip which thn makes it head light

Maybe you can make it thinner by not using as much?

Heavy grips will not affect your racquet's performance because all the weight is on the handle. A heavy replacement grip will weigh more than 17gm. You can do this test: Get a heavy grip and wrap it loosely around the handle and then test it by swinging and driving your racquet. Having done this, you now unwrap the heavy grip and put it on the racquet tip head. Test your racquet again and you will see what I mean. You will feel the racquet weighs a ton with the weight on the head, but almost nothing with the weight on the handle. :D

If we are talking about science, yes. However, then u will not put on any string, or change different kinda string, as they surly effect the balance pt as well.

My point is, string and grip do add a bit extra weight here or there, just pick the ones u feel comfortable. If u really don't like thick grips, try to get some ultra thin overgrip.
