I'm note sure I agree with all of these, for example a jiffy used to be defined as the time taken for a cycle of a system clock, ie 1/50th of a second for most of the world (naturally besides the US and Canada )
The people that have already walked past you can return home to reproduce. Their offspring would grow up and hence join the population line, etc.
It takes 3,000 cows to supply the NFL with enough leather for a year's supply of footballs. hmm, i thot american footballs are made from pig skin.
Talking about facts... the US goverment is considering banning McDonalds from using French Fries , Big Mac and Coca-Cola. This will be the worse scenario you can think of from the Fast food industries. Think of that.. what if they Ban fried Chicken from KFC? KFC might have to close shop.
The average humming bird weighs more than the average penny. In fact, most huming birds weight more than the US penny (3g or more vs less than 2g)
the 13-second chicken thing is suspect too. it's all over the net but never attributed. And I do remember hearing about trained chickens that could sustain "flight" for almost a minute
