Last week AFL star Spider Everett and the 110% crew filmed the training at Altona Badminton Stadium and then spider challenged Kate Wilson-Smith, Stuart and Ashley Brehaut to a dual on the court. 110% Tony Squires is doing a regular feature on Olympic preparations for athletes in various sports and badminton will be profiled on either Wednesday 14th or 21st July – watch this space!"

    Was it on????????????

    Hi fellow Ozzie(s)

If anyone watched the show tonight (14th July) in its entirety, please advise if badminton was featured, otherwise I might just erase the video recording I took...I don't normally enjoy watching these 'talk shows', so unless it was featured, I'll be rewinding that tape ready for next week! Thanks!

Stuart, Ashley and Kate were certainly featured, all but 1-2 minutes around the 50th minute of the show.

Short description of footage: Spider Everett playing doubles with those players and coping one in the sensitive area, thus he now knows why 'that' thing is called a 'shuttle-cock'. Few jump smashes here and there plus racket-throwing by Stuart after being fed up of Spider missing the shuttles. I think Stuart did the voice-over when explaining the basic techniques/rules of badminton.
