Hi all, I am just to get some information on badminton clubs in Melbourne. I am living in the eastern suburbs. Thanks for your help guys...
Here's an old post about this: http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=10336 Hope that helps.
Clubs/groups around Box hill, Nunawading or Doncaster yeah, may i know any badminton groups/clubs playing around box hill, Doncaster or Nunawading area? I dun mind there is just a small groups....... Thanks!
If you don't mind playing in small groups, or with old people (okay I don't know how old you are so I won't try to be offensive ), let's call them veterans, there are actually quite a few times and places to play (I can think of at least 10 sessions.) Check out: http://www.insports.com.au/bv/upload/venuesmelb.asp Missing off the top of my head there's Telstars, who play at Whitefriar's college Donvale, their social is on Friday nights (what the?) quite a wide variety of players, and friendly, if it wasn't on a Friday night I'd play there. Probably a couple more if I think about it. PS I saw you inquiring about Proaces and apacs stuff in Malaysia, you know you can buy that stuff here.
Thanks for the info. I know I could buy it here, I rather buy in M'sia is more cheaper though. R you playing at Donvale? R you from M'sia? Anyway, better for me to compare the prices b4 i buy in M'sia oso. So, do you know who selling those 2 brands racket or any stores? Thanks!
Didn't I just say I don't play at Donvale? Nah I'm not from Malaysia. Here's some indicative costs: http://badminton.musa.net.au/shop_of_goodies.html

yeah that place is real good!!! especially the friday ones.... though for a girl, it sucks cause all the girls there aren't very good (except one who's like a state player or something)...and girls unfortunately, usually have to play other girls cause the people dun encourage girls playing guys.... that sucks.
There is a social club that play in Box Hill 7.30-11.30pm on Saturday nights. It is at the old high school I think in Haig St. along Canterbury rd box hill.
a lot of good casual players at Whitefriar's college Donvale on tuesday and friday night pm8:00-12:00 and charge "grade A" $9.00, "grade B" $7.00 and lady $5.00.
on tuesday they open 4 courts over 16 people play grade "A", they can play single or double and skill pretty well and like bet. on friday they open 8 courts for grade "b" players or beginner, just 2-3 courts for grade "A".
