Sorry...couldn't resist, (but then knowing some of you hardcore fanatics. It does applied to them, playing 24/7) but for this I am referring to July 24th. I am quite recovered from my last outing and am looking to drop in again this Saturday evening. WWC did mentioned he might join. How about it? Say around 8:30'ish?
timeless, you recovered yet? And PeteLSD, no more 5 days playing just before this Sat. :) And for sure this time, I will make sure I do mix around and watch out for Collingwood players!
w22c...get an after game snack pass. :D :D

Looking forward to seeing you guys & gals.

Well, I am out of the action like timeless. Luck just run its course on Sat, my partner ran forward and I took a step back to catch the bird pop up to mid court. My back and leg got hit. The left ankle is swollen now. :( It's not as bad as last time but I am not sure I will be ready and in shape for Sat.

Yeah, timeless' hamstring injury is pretty serious... he won't be able to do much of anything for quite awhile:(. Heh! 8:30ish seems abit early though, I think most of the guys won't be here until 10pm:D.

Yes everyone I've been gimped!!! :(    *HUGE SIGH*
Thanks to everyone who've been concerned. Hopefully be back within 2 weeks but won't know for sure until I get a little further along in my physical rehabilitation. Muscles tears can take a month+ to recover from, and in extreme cases 6 months. *ANOTHER HUGE SIGH*

Thanks go out to Marky who took pity on me the other night. He saw me swinging my racquet around on the practise court, and came over to "rally" with me! :D

    Get better soon, timeless! :D

I know it really sucks to be sidelined. On the bright side, you get to watch more Cycling on TV.

No indeed, timeless; it is a valuable training lesson that I am the one to say thank you to you. I hope I can steal chances to learn from and practice with you even when you get back to normal afterwards.

Hope you and Pete recover soon.

Nope...Can't make 24/7. I'm thinking the following 31/7 when I'm done with moving all my stuff back from Victoria. I should have a friend from Japan with me (he's a pretty good player). He's planning to play everyday but I'm only able to hook him up for 31/7 and probably the Sunday session at Collingwood. He's going to be in town until 5/8.

Perhaps we should postpone the big gathering until 31/7. Timeless and PeterLSD will be out of action for awhile. Some of the VRC BF'ers will be busy or away during this weekend anyway.

Plus that'll buy enough time for either Bighook or JChen99 to intensify their training for their DUEL TO THE DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!

    Bring popcorn.

So are we on for meeting on the 24th anymore? Perhaps the lead VRC members signing people should give the final say here.

    :D

I'm sure bighook and jchen99 would want to know for sure too to make sure they peak their interval training on the right day.

*play Rocky movie music.... each player stares into a picture of the opponent on their mirror..... picks up their racquet and smashes the mirror..... k...time to run up a mountain*

And then both Bighook and JChen99 coincidentally met up on top of Grouse Grind:D.
