how to create own wallpaper???

    anyone know how to create wallpaper.i mean use what program or software to create it.can someone tell me...........

    Wallpaper is just a bitmap file. Any graphic software can do the job. Easiest way is to your digital camera.

    Download GIMP (a free photoshop style program) and just make your own wallpaper. It has all the tools you need, and if you need some clipart, just do a search.

    someone who doesn't even know what program to use is only going to be confused by GIMP.

    Perhaps you should tried MSpaint? Many a great wallpapers were done in MSpaint.

    Just because someone has not used GIMP before doesn't mean they can't learn it. MSPaint is NOT the right tool be using a person wants to create a nice wallpaper. Some of the simple features that AREN'T in Paint:

    - Gradient fill
    - Airbrush
    - Selection tools
    - Layers
    etc.

    I'm no graphics professional and won't need everything function, but at least the tools are there and very straight forward to use.

    When he said "create", i doubt he meant literally to create from scratch. In all liklihood, he has a picture on his digicam that needs to be resized and saved. While MSpaint may not be the best tool, you can do a lot with it.
