    hi all,

i recently purchased a pair of shb-89m online using my current shoe size. the shoe fits fine with about 1 to 1.5 cm between my big toe and the tip of the shoe(which i thought that's how you want your shoes to be, just a bit bigger). when i played with it on last week, i jammed my right big toe against the shoe during lunges a few times, resulting a nasty looking bruise underneath the toe nail. tried to lace the shoe tighter to prevent that, then it's no longer comfortable. is it a problem of shoe size, lacing, socks, or  i am tempted to exchange or purchase another pair that's half-size bigger but i would like your opinions first to see if i can correct that before spending more money. thanks for all your help.

Ideally you want a badminton shoe to fit quite snugly so you don't move about inside and risk injury.

instead of buying shoes online, why not going down to a club and see if they have any you can try on and see which size fits you the best.

    1. when u doing lunges, make sure don't use ur toes to stop.

    2. SHB98MX is narrower when compare to SHB89MX (orange). It might take a bit longer to "break in".

    3. Make sure keep the toe nails to be as short as possible. :p

    4. Try to adjust the lace to be tight/loose at various spot, it might help.

As you lunge for the shuttle, your heel must be the first part of the racquet foot to strike the ground (extend reach by completing lunge with racquet foot in front). Foot should turn/face outward as you plant it.
