Taufik took the first set 15-11... I wish Hendrawan could retire as a world champion... come on.... go A-Wang...

he'll prolly lose. if hidayat juz keeps the ball(chuttle in this case) in play, he'll win cos Hend ain't got no much stamina left.

    Lots of s*** and rubbish

How did the cramp take place, Kwun? I didn't watch this match coz I had been hogging the TV the whole evening. There was a guest over but I just insisted on watching badminton... *shame on you, girl. Where are your manners?*

Anyway, here comes all the conspiracy theories:
1)Taufik was instructed to have cramps after leading in the 3rd set so it would
    a. look like an accident and no-one would suspect any match-fixing
    b. give Hendrawan a much-needed break because he wouldn't have to fight back in the rubber

    2) No theory involved. Taufik was really "cramping".

I'm talking a lot of nonsense here. Please don't take this seriously, esp the Taufik and Hendrawan fans. On my part, I am an INA supporter but like Al, would prefer Hendrawan to win since it's already his last WC. Then again, it would take a lot for him to get past an in-form Gade...

    Anyway, good luck, Hendrawan!
    And happy recovery, Taufik!
    *doh*

Re: Lots of s*** and rubbish

well. guess what? i have a guest over as well, and i have pretty much been watching badminton as well. but he is an old friend. no problem. :)

Taufik came up to the net to retrieve a net shot, and then he limped a few and fell onto the ground. then the medic came over and a few minutes later, he retired from the match.

it looked genuine, may be he is a good actor?

i also wonder if the Chinese were tiring Ra out as Cheung had guessed.

the Zhang/Wei vs. Ra/Lee match and MX final aren't favoring Ra.
