anybody have special plans to watch the Olympics badminton?

do you plan to sit at home alone and watch it in the dark?

do you plan to throw a party and invite all your badminton friends?

do you plan to bring a video projector and broadcast it in the gym?

or just sit down in the couch with your SO and junk food and watch it?

I've applied 5 half day PM leave for next week. Because of time difference, all the badminton matches will be starting for 2pm malaysia time.
    I'll be watching at home..

Quite frankly, I plan on watching it any possible way I can! Considering how little coverage the sport has gotten in the past, and the currently planned TV scheduling here in Canada (what a joke), I'll be happy to catch any of it at all.

US is just over the border, and most motels have cable TV! ;)

very strange feeling to advice someone coming to the US to watch badminton on TV...

sadly because CBC isn't broadcasting much badminton besides the womens doubles final, i'll probbaly be sitting around wishing there were more coverage.

on a positive note, there's always BF..and i'm sure there will be updates from all of the members that can view the games! i'll be lingering

as for the non badminton events, i'll be watching those too cheering for canada

    (Popcorn? ....probably not.)
And I will put the schedule on my desk in case I forgot.

how nice of you to get your leave! I can't even get an MC to skip school and my mom will not want to write a letter to the school saying that I'm sick ;) It will be a hectic week for me to watch badminton as my number 1 priority of the week, then only my school work! :) Guess I'll be alone watching the afternoon matches (2pm msian time) whereas in the evening, there will be more people at home!

Yeah, we should record it on tape or better yet, people with TV Tuner & Capture card should capture it and then share it on the net with those who were unfortunate to not get a chance to see it. :)

yea, sure. But we do not have the TV schedule in advance, so I'll only post it as soon as I receive the schedule which is actually on that day itself. Heard that RTM (TV1 & TV2) will be airing the OG live for 25 hours

I'm asking my friend to tape them for me since he has cable tv. But we're unsure of the time that it'll show and even then they're not showing all the matches :( . I'm hoping someone gets all of them and puts them on their computer in hopefully non .rm format and shares them to people like me who'll miss out on a lot of the matches ^^;.

Fook90, here is the link to RTM schedules:

    http://www.telekom.com.my/rtmolympics/

I'm not sure where it will lead you to, but just click on "TV & Games Schedule" on the left hand side.

    Enjoy ;)
