It seems like those commentators only think the smash shots are the attacking shots, DEN players use drops and nets a lot, but those were all good shots.

I recorded this match while I was taking a nap. Just finished watch the Bach/Han match and it has made me even more amazed at the game of badminton, particularly its depth. Going to open gyms I'm even amazed by watching the A and B players, never mind our top doubles players. To see Bach/Han pretty much blasted off the court by the Danes was amazing.
To be fair though, it seemed that Bach/Han were all out of sorts, especially Kevin Han. He missed a lot of serves, some in a row. But the pressure the Danes were putting on them probably made the difference. I think we might see Howard Bach go far in Beijing 2008 with a new partner.

anything on TV tonight?
Janet was rather disappointed last night with the US vs. DEN match. she says it was embarrassing and she felt sorry for the audience there.

Big day ahead and sick leave coming
Thursday will be a busy day for badminton on TV and have a feeling that I will be sick and need to stay home to rest. So is Friday too and it's quite common to have "Nile" and stay away for few days just to be safe :-)
