    yes

That's true. I hope this loss would not have a big impact on their double games and the rest of the Korean team.

Hopefully they can concentrate on their doubles now.

I feel sorry for Kim/Ra, they deserve at least one gold medal after the way they've dominated the discipline for so long, but I guess that's the nature of sport.

I'm glad for Rikke Olson though, she's come close in so many tournaments and just failed to reach the final hurdle, usually because her partners weren't quite up to it. Maybe she'll finally win something major. She's also another player coming to the end of her career after being one of the most consistent doubles player in Europe for several years. Is she retiring after the Games?

I certainly hope she does not retire anytime soon! Jonas has found a fantastic partner and they should have a few more good year to come! Rikke is notably the most consistent player in the doubles scene, and dubbed as the "queen of doubles" by some. I really hope she does not retire anytime soon. I wish them best of luck in the Olympics, and bring a medal back for Denmark!

this IS the real shocker of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes either!! I was like "What the heck in the world is happening?" Ra Kyung Min - Kim Dong Moon partnership is like sooooo goooood....even Gao Ling - Huang Sui lost to them soo many times in a row. and our fellow JR and olsen managed to twist everything!! Wow...wow wow.....

My eye balls almost pop out when I read the Olympic results......still could not believe the news until you guys confirmed to me.

What was going on ??? Day 3, already so many surprises, USA Dreamteam lost to Costa Rica, South Africa won 4x100 mens freestyle relay, Lin Dan lost to Susilo...etc ............This is the greatest Olympics ever, it is the unpredictable that draws the world's attention.

i feel very sorry for kim dm, it's always been his dream to win 2 medals at the olympic games, and now it's shattered, and he had a good chance of acheiving it too, after all, he was top seed in mixed and not too bad in mens... poor guy... i can imagine him sucking in mens double cuz he can't reach his dream anyway...

He didn't play well, so he doesn't deserve his dream. I would've been sympathetic if he fought point-for-point like mad. More like he destroyed Ra's dream.
