After the sad losses suffered by Choong Hann and Choong/Lee, I am wondering if they will be hanging up their racquets soon.

If so, Malaysia is so not ready without them. :(

Very very sad day for Malaysian badminton. I hope Lee Chong Wei can make amends and carry on the challenge, I guess the only thing to do now is pray.

    Almost

Coach Yap had told Lee/Choong to partner with younger players after Olympic so for sure these pair will not be together. As for Choon Hann, I think he will reture after the WC2005 as he still have something to proof. My opinion is keep Choon Hann until 2006 Thomas Cup and find a way to make him play 3rd single, almost a sure point to win.

It is good see some positive and practical responses from ants and Han. I hope they will decide to stay on, but it is time to bring out the young guns. I know we have some as I heard some rumour stories that there are four 16 year olds under secret development. Anyone who has heard similar stories in Malaysia please reply.

BTW, I heard this from the great Punch Gunalan himself but I am not sure if he was joking or not.

Really? But will that strategy work for badminton? I think experience is too
important for badminton players. "Secret developing" may work for things
    like weight-lifting though.

btw, I really hope that ChoonHann can stay. 3rd single is a good idea,
like Joko in the late 90s.
