Guys its the clash of titans!

Taufik won a superb match against WCH and seems to be in great form. On the other side Gade has a better record than Taufik when they play each other. He also claims that he is playing at 100% of his skills.

    What are your toughts??

Taufik did well yesterday, however, I still prefer Gade, who has been trained hard and worked hard. The match should be long, might be both over double digits and in 3 games, let's wait and see ;)

I hope NBC can show this match......it's gotta be good.

I pick Gade if he is 100% fit even though the record is 5-1 or whatever , means nothing at the Olympics.

For Chen Hong's sake, I hope both players play an extremely long match and get very exhausted... :D

But unfortunately, Chen has horrible records against both Peter and Taufik.

But between the two, Peter probably has higher chance to advance.

    I like both of them.
It all comes down to who wants it more. I pick Gade.
Hope either Bravo or NBC will broadcast the match.

i picked Gade because i think he deserves it and he is in good form.

i wasn't 100% sure about him because he always falters in big tournaments. he always lose in the biggest ones like olympics / wc. let's hope this shadow over him will lift.

I would say Gade based on thier head-to-head record, but look what happened against WCH :p
Anything's possible, and given Taufik's impressive game against WCH, I put my bets on him :)

I'll ride your train. Taufik all the way!
Eventhough he's as cocky and arogant on and even off the court, i believe he'll deliver what it takes to bring home the gold.
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!

Well danish tv has broadcasted every match with danish competitors, and they will broadcast this tomorrov from 8.05 danish, then I can watch 30 minutes before I go to school. My bet is definetely on Gade, first of all Taufik had a tough match against WCH, and Gade was very impressive against him in the semis at All England so he is my bet..........

It's not gonna be the same Taufik as you saw in all England. I read somewhere that Taufik is really deseperate to take a medal in Athen since it's probably his last Olympic.

Peter Gade is really gonna have a tough match this time. My bet is for Taufik.

I saw Taufik playing against Wong Chong Hann today, and I would say Taufik has changed, maybe not a lot, but at least he is calmer, more focus, and he could control his temper very very well. He started slow though that's why he lost the first set.

I would pick Taufik over Peter Gade ...[IMG]

Is Sony Dwi KUNCORO still in the game? He's an excellent player too but I am still rooting for Peter GADE.

I still can't believe WONG Choong Hann lost to Taufik HIDAYAT. I mean Taufik is good and all but I had expected WONG coming out as the winner. Man, there are many surprises in the Olympics.
