Search for badminton group :)
Hi all A friend told me about this forum in my attempts to look for a group to play badminton with.
Staying in Tiong Bahru and am looking for a group which plays in the area.
Preferably during any of these timeslots:
-Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri nights(start at abt 8 or so)
-Sun late afternoon to evening (3.30-4 onwards)
I have looked through some of the threads and have noticed a qualitative description(beginner/intermediate/advance) of the abilities of a player that certain groups are looking for. Not too sure which category i would fall into as i could not find any guidelines on the forum. So i will try to describe my standard/story to the best of my ability.
Played badminton from primary5 to JC which is about 8years. Was part of school team in pri, sec and JC. Army and university(just finished 2nd yr in NTU-NBS) after that which meant 4years(2+2) of inactivity with regards to badminton. Currently started picking up the racquet again trying to get back into the game. Cant compare to my standard back in the days but i reckon i can still play a good game(i think:P).
Looking forward to finding a group which i can hopefully call home for the foreseeable future

I have just moved to Singapore and stay on Tanjong Rhu Road (East coast)... Being a Badminton addict, I am looking for a group to pick up my racquet once again.
Picking from the threads above.. trying to put down my level of play. Played regularly at junior level with a long gap in between. Restarted playing an year and a half back and I should be able to tag myself at intermediate level (though not sure of the definition of intermediate here)!!
