Hi I am looking for regular session in jurong west area(near lakeside mrt). I am an intermediate player didnt play for last 6 months. looking for regular session sunday morning and wed or thursday evening.

Thank man..i write this is because after ten over year loss touch in badminton, i join a group a few mth back that have very cannot loss player who ask me..hey u know how to play anot with a very lousy tone, i felt bad. And he keep hitting the net and out of court to end the game faster...haha...

Oh, u poor thing.. next time choose your partner carefully.. play so lousy n still can ask you know how to play anot..

ya, i meet a few of this . just choose the group to join carefully.. just look at the organiser, look at the players,
so that playing badminton is a enjoyable experience.. have fun..

he did it, just to end the game faster...ha ha lucky i form my own group who also sometime encounter such player...esp those who have there female partner..look like PRO...can't hardly smile..it just a game...find ur own mistake and correct it why must face black black..haha.. there are also some good player that help me and willing to share with me where and how to handle a double game..thank to all of them. Happy playing..

Hi,

It is good to be back home in Singapore. It is also great to be able to play badminton again.

I’ve joined a few of the various groups in the past. Some of them (organizers and regulars) are friendly, and some not so (1 or 2 quite snobbish/arrogant). I would recommend the moderators to include some form of ratings from players. I think badminton should be competitive but since we are all amateurs, it should be fun & friendly foremost. For people new to BadmintonCentral, these ratings will do them good to pick and choose groups according to their preference. The worst is having a player joining a new group and found out that group is not so “suitable” and left being “ostracized”. Unfortunately, there are some bad apples out there.

Moderators – please consider.

Members – if this gets posted and if you want to provide some feedback on the groups, please be encouraged to do so.

There are many groups out there. U can state clearly your game level and where is your preferable place to play

. Also which day u would like to play. It will help u to find a group easily

I stay in the Bukit Panjang and I consider my game level as intermediate. My preferred places of play are Woodlands and the western part of singapore. No preferred timing as long as got no appointments.
