The MP55 is a bit misplaced and out of it's league (not nearly as performant as the others), but it's on the list because it's one of the rackets I started off with and it was so much damn fun to use at the time. It's the racket that made me serious about badminton-- before the 55, i used only cheap low end carbon graphs and had no idea what badminton was really like.

Not definitive, as I haven't used that many, but:

1.Mp99 2UG4 I get lots of power out of it.
2.AT800Off Power Power but if my technique is good no better than MP99 and is a less agile racquet.
3.MP99 3U - too light for me.
4.MP23 too flexy but with decent strings it isn't the worst. It was $45Au so top points for value!
5.Ti-7 Light. Too light.

There is a couple of MP100s floating around my training buddies I just have to try out....

i think it goes like this.
He heat up his racket hand over burning coal.
then he transfer his glowing red hand onto his racquet handle with the desired grip format and squeeze.
the leather then burns and charred into the wood forming a permanent classic grip molding. So, under the heat of intense MD rallying, the user retains his perfect grip all the time.

What I have to do to each racket to make the grip perfect (for me) is different as all rackets are not made the same. I won't go into how I do it because it'll take too long. But I will tell you the end result:

1) The butt cap doesn't "catch" during grip transitions and is soft (more cushioning)
2) The handle edges need to be smoothed down (a bit) to make it easier on the hands
3) Wrapping the overgrip is always smooth and half overlapped
4) Overgrip goes up to just the top of the cone
5) Grip needs to be tacky but not overly tacky, see # 1.
6) Final grip needs to enhance or maintain the overall balance of the racket. When you hold the racket, the racket needs to feel like an extension of your hand.

All this is not easy to do, It's been a work in progress for me for 6+ months.

And if you have to ask, I have Ba Su to thank for this madness.

I'm simply happy I have two raquets with close to the same grip size. ( they haven't made the Forza SP-9000 for a couple years)

Thanks for elaborating. What do you mean with the butt-cap. what do you do? maybe íf you want to elaborate. we shoudl take this to the "perfect grip" thread somwhere 'round here...

and just to stay on topic:
1. woven 7 but the grip is too round (to small grip. couldn't find grip on defense)
2. at-500 3u nice, allround, would've loved a 2U...
3. ns9s 2u. Demo-ed, very nice, didn't demo extensivly, but it had a nice 'whip' to it...even at 19lbs a good feel...
4. ns8k 3u. would have loved a 2u, for more 'umph'

Naw, I retire, it's too hard to explain. The post would be so detailed and I don't have time to do it right now.
