Was in Malaysia recently and one of the racket dealers told me that MP55 and MP77 have been discontinued and the distributor Sunrise are clearing stocks now. Is this true? Why would Yonex bother to change the color scheme for MP77 then? I still see these rackets being sold in Singapore. What about the rest of the world? Are these rackets still available?
I think there are still lots of old stock left......at least that's what I see in China, HK, and Taiwan.
Certainly looks that way from the 2004 catalog - MP 77 / 55 no longer on it... Don't know if they are clearing stocks - but i still see the blue MP 77 around .... Hmm... looks like I better keep my silver MP77 in a safe place.... Its actually a very good racket ..... no as well balanced at the MP 99 but IMHO its as good as 90% of the rackets out there
