    Just read that, according to the Athens badminton stringing team, string tensions varied from 21 to 36 pounds, "the latter being for Jens Eriksen, the tall Dane".

    Holy cow! 36 pounds!?! I knew he was in the 30+ range, but 36 is closer to 40!

    :eek::eek::eek:

    My guess is his MP-100 is a 2U... :p

    That's just insane, wonder who was using 21pound. Single player? Double player?

    Conversion in kg!

    For those who like me don't know what pounds really represent... 36 pounds = 16.32960 Kg (according to the first online converter I could find)

    More importantly how did the stringer tackle 36 lbs!!! BG-65 can easily take 36 lbs. I have a hunch that the stringer used one string method at 36 X 36 lbs to save time. Jens's MP-100 should be ok with one session of 36 lbs. He might simply cut it after each match. Besides the top pros get infinite replacement.

    Maybe each day. He might use it for more than one match if he has a MD and a XD on the same day. Otherwise I would expect he gets ALL his racquets restrung for every days play.
    Or if he doesn't then he's probably playing with racquets that have gone down to about 32lb 1 day after stringing.
