i am using yonex Ti6 right now. And i want to buy Ti10. Is that a good choice? i notice that Ti10's head is quite heavy. Is that can increase the power when you hit the shuttlecock?
The best one is the one suitable for yourself. If you think Ti-10 is way too head heavy for you, then, it's definitely not your choice, at least, for now.
Mine would include anti paint scratching technology with constnt tension string that never loosened, 100% sweet spot would also not go unappreciated Ditto.
There is no such thing as forever. If there is, then it must be one that can recreate itself to form any type of racquet at your command.
The best racquet is the one that by using it I can jump from level Z to level A. Probably I can only find this racquet in my dream.
Nah the best racquet would be one with a chip and sensor to detect how one desires to play and correspond with every hit by changing the racquet's flexibility, balance point, weight by using future technology which can align the molecules in the racquet. All these while being as durable as a diamond.
aHhHH I see that there is many other people that share my taste I like both my Cab21 and Ti-10 but in my case I prefer the cab21 slightly more.
Maybe is a bit of topic .. but someone can tell me wich is the best raket between Mp99 and Mp100 .. because i wanna buy a yonex raket but i don't know wich is the best .. =) ^^...Syaoran...^^
I would rather have a shuttle that lasts forever. However, I think the racquet that's "best forever" is the one that gave me my most memorable victory. That event hasn't come to pass yet, so I am still waiting for my 'best' racquet.
My son, his coach and his friends had tried Ti10, Ti-Swing Power, MP99, MP100, AT700, AT800-OF very seriously and extensively in long hours. They finally picked AT700 and AT800 for serious use(i.e. competition). I was told that the control, speed and "hitting feeling" are superior.
Please don't buy Ti-10. Try MP-99, or AT700/800-all these are superior because of new Technology. My son's coach and the coach's friend had used Ti-10 for more than 3 years for every day teaching and playing untill my son bought AT700. I can share their experiences with you: 1 It took time to adjust to AT's feel. 2 The coach and friends broke a pair of AT800 during the first week of buying when playing double(clash). Even though expensive, they replaced and bought extra AT. 3 I was told that AT is: a) more stable and faster than Ti10 b) powerful enough for most players c) easy to break when clash d) AT is also head heavy, but not as heavy as Ti-10 4 The coach, had been playing with a group of friends, thanked me for buying the AT700 for my son such that he could try the AT very seriously and by switching from Ti-10 to AT, he really scored more than before when played with the same group of people. 5 Before I forget to introduce, the coach is a die-heart mainland chinese style person who believes in techniques and look down upon weapons. Now he is waiting to try Nano. Best regards
My response to some of your points above: 1. It takes time to adjust to any racquet, just in the matter of the length of time. 3. a. I wouldn't say that. c. I think both AT and Ti are pretty much the same d. Wrong, you need to check with the specs. For example, AT700's balance point is far beyond the Ti-10. AT700 is much more head heavy than Ti10.
Ti10 is not head heavy, while AT700 is I have a Ti10 2U G5, as opposed to many people claiming it is head heavy, it is not, with original grip and string it is around 290mm only. Mine is a g5. What makes it feel head heavy is the stiffness. At700 is head heavy around 310mm i think, mp77 305-310mm. At700 is very light, it being more stable than ti10 stiff frame, i personally do not think so. At700 is faster to swing At700 is a light racket, i guess less material inside, easier to break. At feel takes time to get use to it. Ti10 is very stiff, very hard to adapt, need strong arms and wrists, cause muscle pain, but once you get right technique and power, it is damn powerful.
Superior in terms of what? durability/performance? Sorry, I have to disagree if its performance. AT800 is far behind in terms of people choice of racquet compared to old classics (Boron2, cab20, cab21, Ti-10, iso800...) a) I agree its faster but I don't find it more stable because of the Ti-10 stiffness b) Agree c) It can take a couple of clash but every racquet is going to brake in a big clash d) AT700 is very head heavy, even more than Ti-10.
I agree, the Ti-10 is extremely stiff - not easy to use, which is probably why most people feel that it's not so manoueverable - but its power is awesome... Don't know about AT700 but my AT800DE is a different animal than the Ti-10, its easier to use, a lot lighter but a little lacking in the power department.. As for breakages - I have broken Blackens and CAb-8s before so I am not surpised if the AT's break in a clash.... (just hope mine doesn;t)
