Really? I have heard that Zhao Jianhua was a very streaky player... he's almost invincible when he's good, but average on his offdays. Yang Yang, on the other hand, was more consistent throughout his career.
Yeah, I got a training vcd featuring Xiong Guobao. The guy's a righty.

Oh...in my opinion, Bao and Lin Dan are the most talented left handed player for men's singles now...
But as for those retired players, I think Yang Yang and Yong Hock Kin are the best.....

It's true that Zhao Jianhua was not consistent in tournaments but that was mainly due to his health. According to sources close to the Chinese camp, Zhao never fully recovered from the pneumonia he contracted in 1985. If he felt good he was just unbeatable at that time, otherwise he could lose to a much lower ranked player.
