Really? I have heard that Zhao Jianhua was a very streaky player... he's almost invincible when he's good, but average on his offdays. Yang Yang, on the other hand, was more consistent throughout his career.

Yeah, I got a training vcd featuring Xiong Guobao. The guy's a righty.

Oh...in my opinion, Bao and Lin Dan are the most talented left handed player for men's singles now...
But as for those retired players, I think Yang Yang and Yong Hock Kin are the best.....

It seems my memory still working sometimes . Now that Xiong is right handed then Zhang Chingwu another player from that era should be left handed.

It's true that Zhao Jianhua was not consistent in tournaments but that was mainly due to his health. According to sources close to the Chinese camp, Zhao never fully recovered from the pneumonia he contracted in 1985. If he felt good he was just unbeatable at that time, otherwise he could lose to a much lower ranked player.

I dunnoe why but I have a natural liking for left handers. I had always liked to watch players like Lin Dan and Fu Hai Feng. But of all, I admire Choong Tan Fook most.

I think the contenders for this thread should be Lin Dan, Lee Hyun II, Fu Hai Feng, Yoo Yong Sung, Flandy Limpele and Chan Chong Ming. Wad do you think ?

    I agree too!

I guess the next one that comes after is Lim Xiaoqing (SWE)?
But the best left-handed lade player today should be Wei Yili.

Is Dai Yun still playing? Anybody got pictures of her?

    Default Indonesia

I was just wondering, besides Flandy Limpele, are there any other top players that are left-handed in Indonesia? (both male and female)

MS: Zhao Jian Hua - China
MD: Kim Moon Su (Spelling??) - Korea
