I would like to either
form a Badminton club or attend one in the Central Florida area. Are you interested in forming one or know of a place to play? I discovered that a senior's event was held in Kissimmee late last year, but I have not been able to find any contact information for that event. I noticed that Tampa, St. Pete and Miami all have some Badminton clubs,
but there does not appear to be any location's in the Orlando area.

There are quite a few places to play in Orlando, Kissimmee area. PM me if you need them, I'll find out for you.
Where to play in Central Florida? Any nearby clubs in the Orlando area(most prefered)? I know of local college campuses such as UCF that have a Badminto facility, but are there any local clubs or other places to play?
Sorry I did not look at the whole thread. I will try to go to the Orlando club ophas. I am going to pm you Jaguar about places to play in Orlando/Kissimee Area. Any guys around my area go to UCF to play?
Any Badminton stores in the area? Are there badminton stores in the area you know of Jaguar or any other player that knows?
Ralph, there isn't a baminton store in that area and I don't know where those players buy their supplies from but you can ask them or let me know. I purchase mine from a few very good vendors.
Okay I will ask them. Which vendors to you get you equipment from? My grandpa is coming to visit from the Philippines at the end of March so I will ask him to bring over some feather shuttlecocks and maybe shoes and racquets too.
melbourne, FL Any places to play in the vicinity of Melbourne FL? Thanks a lot please reply at Gobivenkata@gmail.com thanks
University of Central Florida Does anyone play at University of Central Florida? I read that you need someone to bring you in. Is that corrrect?
I attend the University of central florida, and yes someone needs to bring you in. All students or faculty have I believe 3 passes that allow you to bring someone in with you. You can also purchase a gym membership although its a bit pricey especially for a poor college student like myself.
Hey people, I also want to join a club or just meet up and play some time. I hope its okay but I too will PM Jaguar and Ralph to see if they have any leads currently. Thanks.
I am located in Orlando. Does anyone play at the Orlando Racket Club in Winter Park, and also at the College Park Community Center? I am not a UCF student... and also it's a bit far since I live in downtown. I am new at the sport (in fact I barely even know the rules) but I have experience in tennis, so in badminton I'll be probably very rusty and confused at first... but will soon pick it up to an intermediate level. Also, I'll be trying to see if I can reach some competitive shape... so I wouldn't mind practicing for 2-4hr. per day. Also, are there any other places to practice in the Orlando area?
Non-ucf location... You should still contact the UCF group and they can help out more. The Badminton Club @ UCF Email: badmintn@pegasus.cc.ucf.edu Web: http://badminton.ucf.edu/ I'm a UCF alumni so I don't get to play much these days. I'm pretty rusty by now but if you find a beginner's group let me know as well. Hope it works out, Bernie
