Check out Places to Play on www.badmintonvictoria.com UVic has a badminton club which plays on Sundays (http://web.uvic.ca/~smashing/). Most places in Victoria plays with plastic except for Cordova Bay and Brentwood (selected nights). The folks at both places are very friendly except maybe Monday evenings at Cordova and that's coz it's competitive ladder. And it doesn't matter where and when you go to any of those places, you will sure to run into Panhandle (can't miss him with his yin-yang motif hairdo)
Yeah no kidding Yeah I am at UVic right now and am looking for some good matches. I have been playing at VRC all summer and am quite addicted. You can check out Cordova bay and see what is going on late (about 8pm). During the it goes heavy on the doubles and thats ok if you like that kind of thing. There seems to be badminton at the Ian H. Stewart Complex at the following times: 9:30-11:00pm Thursday 8:00-11:00pm Friday 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday There is also Brentwood Bay Comunity Centre apparently they have some badminton there as well.
