UC DAVIS FALL OPEN 2004 http://badminton.ucdavis.edu Dates: Saturday, October 30th (Singles and Mixed Doubles) Sunday, October 31st (Doubles) Location: Recreation Hall at the University of California, Davis Events: Flights A, B, C, D: Men & Women Singles, Doubles, & Mixed. Entries: $13 for first event, $10 for each additional event. 3 flights max on Saturday, 2 flights max on Sunday Deadline: Entries must be received by midnight Friday, October 22nd. There is a strict $5 late fee for entries received after this date. Late entries are NOT guaranteed a place on the draw. Entries with payment, received before the deadline will be guaranteed a place on the draw. No refunds after October 22nd. Times: Warm-up starts at 8am. Games will begin at 9am. Check web for individual match times. Draws should be posted on web by Friday, October 29th Prizes: A M/W Singles 1st - $75; A M/W Singles 2nd - $25 A M/W Doubles/Mixed 1st - $80/team; A M/W Doubles/Mixed 2nd - $30/team Trophies will be awarded to all B,C,D, and Cons Flights. T-Shirts: Newly designed t-shirts will be sold at the tournament. Entry Rules: (1) Players will be allowed to play a maximum of 3 flights on Saturday and 2 flights on Sunday. 2 max flights per event. (2) Doubles teams must play in the flight of the higher ranked player. No jump in flights! (3) Multiple partners are not allowed. (4) A strict five minutes default rule will be enforced. Players who are defaulted will be disqualified from the tournament for the event they defaulted from (5) Participants will not be allowed to start their first match until all fees are paid.
