There are two types of fakes:
    1. The copies of the existing models. This kind of fakes can fool people who don't know how to distinguish them. Some of the hi quality ones are hard to distinguish.

    2. The copies of the non-existing models. This kind of fakes can be avoid if you take 1 minute searching on the internet and see if the model exists or not. So, people who buy the non-existing fakes are usually the ones who didn't do the homework, and they need to adjust that shopping attitude asap.

I think fool is too harsh a word! Maybe uneducated or vulnerable...

I have seen many people playing with fake MP99s..unaware to themselves until I pointed it out. They thought they got a good deal (50% off)

One guy in particular was playing quite alright with his fake MP99 until I pointed it out*. He argued with me for a while. In the end I said that as long as he is comfortable using it, nothing else matters. The next time I saw him, he switched to a different one, citing that the MP99 was not suitable for him..and yes, he was using another Yonex

*I broke it to him subtly. The goal was not to make me feel clever, or make him feel stupid, but to educate him not to be so vulnerable in the future. ;)

Is this a beginning of a trend? Fakes being sold out of Malaysia?

I can't help but notice that the last two or so posts on the ebay auction watch thread are about fake shoes in Malaysia.
