See topic... And HELP ME PLZ!!! Is there any way to stop myself from buying racquets??? I really think it's waste of money...... But but but, the racquets are sooooooo pretty.... I just can't control myself!!! HELP!!!!!!:crying:
Don't buy rubbish I support you. Don't worry. Just keep on buying. It's good to the economy. But when you buy, remember to buy JP/CP/CN codes. They are better. Don't buy rubbish.
Well Everytime u wanna buy a new racquet, put the $$ u would use in a Jar. And then when u have around $20,000 Buy a new Car OR Get a Girlfriend! The #1 Expense in a Man's Life
Keep on buying?? Are you working for Yonex ?? Also, please define clearly what you meant by "rubbish". Feng_MP-100: Ah, I got a great idea for you (which is what I am using now): Get a girlfriend who is not interested in playing badminton seriously. She will turn you down everytime you ask her if you could get a new racket.
If I had a gf, I would let her have any of my racquets that she wants... Ti-10, MP100, MP99, AT-700...etc..... :crying: Too bad that I haven't found the one that's for me and only me.
**Annoucement Style** "Any female, single, and currently within the US BFer can now consider Feng_MP-100 to be your BF. " Benefit(s): At least you will get lots of rackets from him!!
Yipom and Bluejeff, problem with him getting a gf will be he'll get a gf who's interetested in badminton for sure, despite your suggestions of a gf who's not interested in badminton. P.S if you want to channel your money away from buying racquets buy STRINGING MACHINES!!!!!
probably u r too possesive, just like me... but I have my mom who will really blast me if I squander my money like u do... so "no prayer for the dying"... (thats what Iron Maiden sings... )
just be thankfull you are not into fishing and fishing lures. i for badminton you are likely to play maybe once a week or twice a week so at least you get to use them. but fishing....... how often do ppl go fishing? and the rate ppl buy fishing lures compare to the number of times they go fishing is a great gap. i know ppl who have hundreds or thousands of fishing lures and only maybe ever used/tried 1/4 of them. so cheers mate. keep up the good work helping the badminton industry. for all you know the profit shops make from you could soon sponsor a community tournament. so quid pro quo
Man I am having the same problem now. I check out ebay or local auctions every week for some old racquet for sale which, once restrung, will be the ultimate 'secret weapon' which will help elevate my game into the next level! Had my eye on a Karakal 838 XTC boron, but the guy wanted too much for it. Bah! Courbet *yes yes, to elevate my game into the next level I should instead practice, practice and practice, but buying new weapons is more fun *
It's like: if I'm beaten by someone with a better racket..I might want to buy a racket is even better, just to win? So far...I have a decent racket.but there's a racket that I really want. As a student at a university...I have to be frugal, because I have taken out loans to pay for tuition. I wonder if I'll ever care for better rackets when I'm done school. I'm not sure if I'd still be playing badminton even. Though I enjoy the sport, I don't know if I'd like how badminton is outside of school club. I think badminton is taking a little too much of time, though I can not stop the urge to play when I can.
