    Hi all:cool:

I am 28 and have recently started playing badminton after a number of years, so i'm a bit rusty, but still fairly decent. Would anyone happen to know of any clubs in the east london area?

If any other females would like to partner up, let me know.

    Yes,

Um.....do u know Stratford well? Cos i know there is a place which is called "Sarah Brunel" school, where a club plays there on a weekly basis (Thurs).

Other than that, Sobell (in Finsbury Park), Bacon's College (in Surrey Quays).

To be really honest with u, i play at my local club in Leyton. But im too, looking for other clubs to play. Btw, where u from (originate)?

There are lots of clubs around, but most of them i only heard of, and not been to because like yourself, no one could show me where it is!!

Hey, if ur interested, and u find a club to go to, let me know and il come along??;)

No I used to, Up North now. Yup, George runs it.

Can't really suggest other clubs, Frenford is the best but also really fussy.

Frenford is not as "fussy" as it perhaps used to be- particularly now its moved to a new venue and has acess to more courts

I have never played badminton at a club before.

What do I need to do if I want to try one of these, say the bacon's college one? Do I need to contact someone or just turn up at the right place at the right time?

    Hi, first time poster,

I've recently moved up, not really looking for a club as yet, but I am looking for a place to play. Any places about? As there doesn't seem to be anywhere local where I live, which is Goodmayes. :(

    Thanks in advance.
