hi i just recently bought a dvd recorder for my computer. it'll record both DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. i was curious as to which one do you prefer to use and why? is one format more compatible than the other? thanks in advance

For new dvd burner models, both should be included. (as my LiteOn DVD writer)

DVD+R/RW media is cheaper than DVD-R/RW. Reason is unknown :D (since I just burn them anyway). I prefer DVD+R/RW just for it's lower cost.

nice site neil. i didnt know that the DVDs i get at Tower Records are on DVD-R format disks. i already purchased 75 DVD+R disks but once i'm out of those i'll give DVD-R a try.
