    Hey y’all

I am pretty new in badminton only been playing for 6 months. I had learned a lot from this forum and I wanna thank you all for the great information’s.

After 6 month of intensive training with help from my couch, now I am able to play with those top player in my clubs even though I still lost but not beat up by them too bad.

Last night I broken my first racket, It was Carlton Airblade Superlite Rasmussen with original string.

I got this racket last week September 24, 2004. I clear a bird from base line and the frame of this racket just snap at the frame at 3 o’clock side.

What kind of warranty does Carlton provide?

Btw I got the racket from Houston Badminton Supply.

Do I just go back to HBS to get replacement or Carlton?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Defender

Probably it's best to ask your retailer first and then go from there.;)

    1. Not sure about ur dealer, but in BadmintonAlley, Carlton rackets are listed as "no warranty". Of course, your local dealer might be able to honor you with the store warranty, though.

    2. Manufacture will exam your rackets (many require to have the string left on), to determine if it's a manufacture defect or your own problem (i.e. clash, bump, mis-hit, high tension, bad string job, etc)

    3. Talk with the dealer, and bring is back if allowed, and I wish you the best of luck.

    Update on warranty

I got RMA number from Carlton, the racket was ship back to CArlton yesterday.
At this point I am not sure will they replace the racket or not, but they will take a look at the broken racket and go from there.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Just wondering is this suggested by your dealer? Also, about the clear that broke the racket, is that a miss hit (i.e. on frame) or not?

    Best of luck. :)

Yes, David at Houston badminton supply called to Carlton to get the RMA for me.

The racket broken in the middle of the rally, I cleared the bird and noticed the frame went out of shape.
I belived it was hit in the sweet spot.

Btw. when I recieved the racket, it had one small dot of paint chip in it, but the cracked frame was the opposite side.I wonder if the racket is the defective?

    Carlton warranty update

Today I just received 2 brand spanking new Carlton Airblade superlite from FOCUS GOLF SYSTEMS, INC. They replaced my broken AB Rasmussen superlite to AB superlite which is fine with me compared to my broken rackets.

Anyway I just want let you guys know Carlton do have a warranty, and they do have a great customer service.

Thanks to Carlton and Focus Golf Systems, inc.

I am not affiliated with them , Just one happy customer.
