It looks like I can't access this site (or cycleforum) from work anymore. It started yesterday, so I thought it was a server problem but it's the same today :crying: :crying:

Did you change anything about oo 7 pm your time Kwun?

If not, it looks like my average daily login time will drop to around an hour a day :crying:

Seems like the IT Admin at your place had found where the high bandwidth of incoming packets are coming from... ;)

Okay I've tested both, the 67 one works, the 70 one gives the same error as the normal link, "The page cannot be displayed". This is kinda weird, and the 67 one is incredibly slow, in the order of about 4 mins per page to load up.

Still it's better than no access ;)

    strange. that's not good...

meaning the new IP is blocked. the old IP (will go away in november) is slow. your company must be tightening up their external web accesses...

we need to find you a proxy that is not blocked.

Interesting, I just got home and the 67 site is actually quite fast, though not as fast as this one. Not sure why it's so slow at work.

Also I don't understand the "page cannot be displayed" error. If we are barred from a site, it tells us exactly that. That was why I was wondering if you'd changed anything.

Thanks for you work on this so far.

    It's gone, sniff

Well not even the old address works from work anymore, sigh. Guess I'm stuck with checking in from home after work from now on :crying:

I'll be on as much as I can, however with the amount of stuff I have to do in the evenings it won't be as much as I'd like.

    Hi Pecheur,
I can send you details of a work-around for this later; I have the same problem accessing certain sites via the computing labs in the University library (to which I'm about to rush off).

Incidentally, what OS and browser are you using at work, and what system privileges do you have?
