Eligibility: Champion in Christ are open to all badminton players. Since it is sanctioned event, it requires USAB membership. Tournament -only ($ 25.00) or regular memberships ($30.00)may be purchased by going to www.usabadmiton.org or at the tournament desk. Prizes : $ 2,300.00. Only champions and runner ups will get the money. Merchandise Prizes will be awarded to the Semi finalists. Events maybe combined or played round robin format if not enough entries are received. 2. Single elimination event. No Consolations round will be played. 3. Up to two YONEX feather shuttlecocks per match will be provided free of charge. 4. All matches will be played in the best of 3 games of 15 (BS & BD & MX ) with the exception of GS (11). 5. A default time of 10 minutes will be strictly enforced for all matches. On court warm ups is limited to 5 minutes max. 6. This year Adult National results (up to 5th Place) will be used for seeding arrangement. While others will be randomly drawn. 7. Each Player in a Doubles partnership must submit a separate entry form. 8. Entries will not be refunded if canceled after Nov 26, 04. 9. Tournament Director reserves the right to change any of the above conditions. 10. OCBC reserves the right to reject any Entry, which will then be returned along with the Entry Fee.

Will any one be going to Champion in Christ tournament coming up on Jan 15, 05 ? I encourage all the badminton players to come support the tournaments..... This event is initiated by an ex world class player (Rudy Gunawan) who even as a pastor now has a drive and desire to help improve badminton in the US. He envisions doing this tournament as an annual event and hopefully (If God's willing) he will make it as an IBF 3 to 4 stars event. Therefore again i call on all the badminton fanatics to come and participate in this tournament ................. The deadline of entry is Dec 31,04.
Maybe just to watch. It's an open tournament...No B-C-Ds, no seniors, no juniors. That leaves out most players.
