I'm definitely going to try it out once at least. Probably won't last long with the low durability, but fun to try. It's not released on the market yet though, right? Or do you actually know a place where we can buy it?

Supposedly release date is late Oct 2015... can't wait to try and compare with my usual ZM62 and ZM62 Fire... and even just to see what 11 out of 10 repulsion and hitting sound feels like...

0.61 is definitely worth a try once, however I have a feeling I'm not going to like it. 11 out of 10, typical Yonex stupid marketing these days.

    Kindest regards,

I'll probably like it... for the full 5 minutes of warm up until it snaps on the slightest mishit...

Just like with rackets, there is an optimum thickness for me on strings, 0.65 - 0.68 are my ideal range with the BG80 0.68 performing the best for me. Going to 0.61 is just silly IMO. I will try it as I would like to see if I get a pleasant surprise but I doubt it very much.

EDIT: plus a stringers nightmare on high tensions. It will be expensive string to keep replacing if it pings during restrings.

    Kindest regards,

    -Ajay-

FYI I will try it at 29/31 and review it if I get a single chance to hit with it once. If it's real 0.61 I have a problem...I guess it's more a 3 in terms of durability instead of a 5. Depends on the coating, but I guess it's close to BG66UM.

What starting knot to prevent flushing? Or is one piece the way to go at this tension and gauge?

You could do 2 piece and no starting knot. I hate 1 piece

I hate stringing with a starting clamp. 1 piece isn't difficult if you avoid fancy patterns.

Oh it's not about difficulty, I just prefer dealing with less string at a time. Was just pointing out that there are valid alternatives!
