Which game? Mainly men's doubles. Also like men's singles, but don't often get to play it. Hate mixed doubles with a passion. Sometimes semi-deliberately lose a mixed game quickly so I can play the next men's doubles.
Playing style: players are terrible at assessing their playing style. Usually they say what they like to think about themselves, not what they actually do.
Err....I'd say I have much better attack than defence (defence is a weakness of mine, but dropshots, smashes, and movement are strong). So I suppose that makes me an "offensive player".
My preferred playing style is to move very fast around the court and play all varieties of attacking shots (I love to finish on a kill). Doubles rotation gives me a real buzz. That does not always happen
I like to use crosscourt slice dropshots in doubles, even though I know they are a stupid tactic
Rackets: two Yonex Armortec 800-DE 4U G4.
Strings: Yonex BG-80 at 25 lbs tension. I believe it's an electronic stringing machine.
Grips: remove original grip, add two replacement grips for bulk, and finish with a Wilson Xtra-tack overgrip. Wear sweatbands and keep switching between the two rackets to let the grips dry out.Last edited by Gollum; 09-07-2006 at 06:00 PM.

he should just use a wooden board glued in between the frame of his racquet, it wouldn't be much harder than that.

Game: Singles (I used to play doubles, but switched over when I joined a club)
Style: Passive? I'm not sure if that's actually a style, but when I play it involves a lot of deep clears and tight drops to make them run around. I usually play the high percentage shots in order to tire my opponents out. I don't mind blocking smashes, but I don't hesitate to smash if a bad return is given.
Racket: NS9K 3UG5
String: BG 68Ti @ 23/lbs
Grip: Dark blue Yonex Supergrap (hope to experiment with this soon)

Game: Singles (Formerly doubles, but I have more experience in singles than doubles now.)
Style: Stamina/placement. I usually try to make the opponent run, with deep clears near the backline and tight corner drops. I used to be an agressive player with a lot of smashing, but I sorta switched it up the last year or so. Actually, I'm trying to work some deceptive shots into my gameplay, but it's going to take some time.
Racket: AT800 OF; 4UG3/ Ti-7 3UG3
String: BG 65 @ 25lbs/ BG 70 @ 22lbs
Grip: White Gamma Supreme Overgrip (Tennis grip; Works well with the badminton racket though)/ Yonex Supergrap (light blue)

Play : mainly doubles since an accident a few months ago
Racket : Carlton Airblade Tour (Microlegend XL @ 24x22) and AT800 DEF (new, so factory tension and strings, BG65 @ 22lbs I think)
