Here`s some more pics. First up Arby`s jumping smash - you can see that his legs are more together than Gade`s smash, but then I guess the situation is different. As he had ( and no doubt still does have ) the most effortless strokes I thought it would be good for us right-handed players to see his stroke action this way. Re: Arby`s smash, Hoyer-Larsen`s clear and Ye`s cu i can't see them but i make a comment on last gade photo jumpsmash. I have seen gade jumped higher and racket arm cocked way back before. i think the photo of gade is a good regular jump smash but not his ultimate jumpsmash

Re: Arby`s smash, Hoyer-Larsen`s clear and Ye`s cu finally i saw your photos. gade: more or less one legged jump smash, not too high as he need to recover soon from the back court. arbi: his typical trademark jump smash. like steplantis stated, pouncing on a weak backhand return. both feet used to launch body. poul larsen: he seem to use wrist more and show very little should and forearm motion. Very deceptive. If u got the wrist power and a single player, it is an obvious skill to have and use. ye z ying: can't really make out whether it was a reverse cut. It could be but it is not a cross court type, just a fake smash.

Re: Arby`s smash, Hoyer-Larsen`s clear and Ye`s cu Good pix. Thanks. Once I figured out that Hoyer-Larsen's sequence had to be read from right to left, it was nice to be able to see his stroke from a right-hand point of view.
