When do you ever tell yourself during a match, wow my strings look nice? Doesn't the stringing quality count? If there is a better pattern than the Official Yonex one then why not just go with that? It's about performance, not looks.
Nah I just have lots of sources and lots of friends, plus I am a big shopper (I just realized that I have over 3 pages of badminton store contacts at my browser )
Bluejeff, did you string this racquet??? Because this is the way I want my racquets to be strung... (22 cross strings) This one is not, because its got 23 cross strings... haha...
Well, Yeah, but I prefer 23 cross strings as for the larger sweet spot. I don't do 22 anymore. However, I know there are still tons of stringers out there do the 22, but it's just not my style (but if someone ask me to do it that way, I have no problem with that )
I actually didn't like Asby that much when I stopped by to ask them a few questions about string tension. They were hard to get answers from ... kinda like pulling teeth.
They strung one of my racquets in the summer. There was a guy around 18 that strung mine, and he did 23 cross strings... I told him to string it at 25/23 lbs, but i think he strung it at 22/20 lbs...:crying: Never seen a cute lady there... only see a mid-age dude with glasses... Did they string your racquet with 22 cross strings?
Ok so here's the story. The guy ^^^^ you mentioned quoted me 4pm pickup time the same day. So I chilled at my buddy's place till 3pm in Mtn View. I drove over there but it was still early so I decided to take a nap. I woke up at 450 and walked in. There she was ... working on my second racket. She was working so fast I couldn't see her hands. It was so interesting to watch the racket being strung, but she was so cute I couldn't decide which one to stare at. She did 21 cross strings at 22 lbs (I asked for 22 lbs, but didn't specify how many cross strings--I didn't care).
Badmintonalley does not do "skip the 2nd to the last", Bintang does. What's good about it??? It looks ugly to me though...
