hi i am interested in playing in South SF! can you give me more info of location and times of play? im a beginner so I am looking to play as often as I can
i go there every monday and wed were the group at the far end of the court close to the men's locker room. how well do you play
i just went there for the first time this thursday i had a great time. it is open from 6 to 9 and the cost is 3$. plenty of courts (unless the staff is lazy and doesnt take down the volleyball nets).

I love playing at South SF High, the players are cool and less competative than other place. i went to Glen Park to play before because is free to play there, but only have 4 counts there, and one time someone threaten to kick my ass if i hit the bird to their count, how ruled!!. A lot of high school kids plays overthere since they only have to pay $2 to get in. I try to go there all the time.
hi, does anyone know if the south san francisco high school gym will be open this wednesday (nov. 24th) and thursday (nov. 25th)? thx.
south city will be open again tommorow (monday) the schedule for the week is monday, wednesday, and thursday from 6:30 - 9:30.
Hello all, I am one of the two moderators of SSF badminton. Our normal schedule is 6:30pm to 9:30pm. However, until around the middle of end of February, we will be opening at 7:00pm, and closing at 9:30pm. Just to clarify one of the entries above, On the nights where the volley-ball nets are setup, we are not able to take the volley-ball nets down because the school does not give us permission to do so, being that it is extremely difficult to set these nets up. It takes a hand full of people and time to get them up. Sorry for any inconveniences. Haha. Much, much appreciated. But I do know how you feel, I too like to play... So having those volleyball nets up (when that are up) means that, sometimes, you gotta wait a 'little' bit longer to get on the court.:crying: Thanks again. -Ali
wow, last post was a year ago! i just found out about SSF HS and I went tonight, but there was a school badminton tournament going on so there was no open gym tonite. So is it pretty full there these days? I'm like a D player i think...are the people there pretty good? I''l be going again on monday and wed cuz i've got class on thursdays
