do kim and ra still stay on the ranking list until they're pushed off, or will they just get removed one day since they're not playing internationaly anymore?

Well, even if Kim/Ra are ranked 999, they are still the favor and probably will win 99% of the tournments before they retired.

I remember hearing that Ra Kyung Min was still planning on playing some more. Not sure about Kim Dong Moon though. They probably moved down because the points they earned in the tournaments last year are now expiring and since they haven't been competing lately, they just keep losing points while the rest still gain or maintain their points. (am I right  )

woudln't need it if they got their website working... i find that just so inexcusable... if they can't hire a webcrew to fix them up a decent looking site, especially considering how much the internet has grown... it's probably one of the #1 way's to advertise nowadays...

I think they'd get more from the farce that was Nathan Robertsons racket incident(s) than from any internet site.

In answer to the original question they will just slide down and down as their ranking points expired and since they are calculated after nearly every tournament then in a year after they would cease to be ranked because their points would have expired and they have stopped playing to earn themselves new points.

Yes, the reason is simply that Kim and Ra only have 7 results counting now, when the other top pairs have 10.
They will carry on slipping down until april 2005, then disappear from the rankings (except if Kim changes his mind about retiring...)

It happened to the Msian players as well. Anyway i think Kim/Ra #2 rank will not last long.. once they go back to International Tourneys.. they will be back to #1 for sure.

My best bet would be that Robertson and Emm was in the Finals in the Olympics and they also gain some points by going into the Semis in the Msian Open this year. Both of them was also in the European Championship as Team and Individual Winners. That may be the cause for them getting higher ranking points. dont forget that Kim/Ra had a long laid off before the Olympics. Kim/Ra only played around 5 tournaments in 2004 , Robertson and Emm played around 10 Tourneys in 2004 not forgetting Champion in Thailand Open as well.
