okay... i need some advice here....... i'll planning to get a new racquet...... now i only got two racquets in mind.. their Carbonex 30 muscle and MP 99 ....... i've tried them both B4 and their both outstanding racquets... .. to me carbonex 30 muscle's sweet spot isn't that forgiving as the muscle power series... but it's really easy to get use to..... and the power of it is pretty strong too, the control is awesome...... and to me that MP 99's sweet spot is bigger then 30 muscle... but it's kind of low compare to my armortec 500,700 and my carbonex 8200 light..... but the power of it is awesome..... and the control too. but it's a little pricy...
    well, i don't mind about the price~
    so yeah!

If you get so used to ISO head (AT500, 700), then I think MP99 might be a better choice, as u won't have to worry about switching between ISO and Oval all the time. :)

but then isn't MP 99 heavier then MP 88?? because i don't want a racquet that's that heavy....... i don't want ones like those old iso series ......

You can choose the 3U weight. Both MP99 or Cab30MS have 3U available.

The MP99 is definitely not heavy, at least not "ISO heavy". I know what you mean as I had an ISO before too. The 99 is even balance too, so you'll feel that it is more manuverable right away.

um...a little off topic, but are you sure you need another racquet? surely if you don't like the at700 for doubles, and 500 is a perfectly good racquet?

i'd go for the cab 30

Where is the MP88 kicking in??? I thought we were only talking about cab30ms and mp99???

Btw, not sure what weight are ur AT500, At700 and cab8200 light. If they are all 4U, then the overall weight of ur new racket might be heavier, as MP99 and Cab30MS don't have 4U, but just 2U and 3U. However, AT700 is stiff and head heavy, therefore, a more balanced racket as MP99 and Cab30Ms should be ok.

you don't even know how i play :S so you can't judge me in which racquet i'm buying ..... no offfence... I've only only played with you like once or twice....so yeah~ once again..... no offence ^^

well i have AT 500 and 700 which are both on 3U... but first i don't like how 700 is built, and i use AT 500 for practices and just for fooling around... i want a racquet that is good for games ... and has a good sweet spot....

I would just suggest you to go to badminton store and try out the rackets yourself.

I've never seen you play before, but if you have two rackets such as the at500 and 700, you'll play the same with the 99 or the cab 30. And you tend to know someones level after playing them once or twice btw. If you were playing average on that given day, your best probably isn't too far from how you play normally. "You play the way you train".

But if you must get a new racket, get the one you'll THINK you'll play with best. In your mind that racket will give you the mental edge, good enough right?

Then choose the one that fit you the most! Price/quality

Trying racquet is much more better than asking us which one is better^^

In my biased opinion, I'd have to say go with Cab30MS because I've used one and really recommend it. I'm still waiting for mine to be returned from Yonex since I broke it under warrantee, but it's been 2 1/2 months and still no reply or phone call for it : (
