I managed to find a Thai website of Boonsak Poonsana, the url is http://www.geocities.com/comeupon_man/index.html Many many rare pics of Boonsak in the album section, great for his fans who have been searching fruitlessly on the net for his stuff!
Thnkas, will have a read. I am a fan of his play, even if his technique is not the best, his speed and defence is unreal sometimes.

Haha no prob!! He's so cute, with his sleepy face!! I think he is quite capable cos he is juggling between his law studies and badminton career. If he's playing full time, I am sure he can get into the top 10 easily!

Boonsak Ponsana It seems to me that Boonsak is the test for real top MS players. Why? Because Boonsak is a quite complete player: good technique, agile, fast, clever. While at the same time he is not extremely good in any of the above. For example, we all agree that Lin Dan and Taufik are superior to others, and they both have the ability to demolish Boonsak. While Chen Jin is still not there, and we see how close Chen's win over Boonsak is ( I actually have the feeling that in Chn masters Boonsak is playing half-heartedly, not as concentrated as in this ABC final facing Lee). So now LCW passed the test. He really dominated Boonsak in the final. To me this win of LCW finally puts him in the same leagure as Lin and Taufik. Hope I am not wrong.
I dont think that Boonsak is very far from Lin Dan and Taufik. All of the times I've seen Taufik Hidayat play Boonsak Ponsana, it hasn't been an easy ride for Taufik. Most recently I saw Taufik and Boonsak play against eachother at the World Championships, in an excellent 3 game match. I do agree that Boonsak definitely has work to do, but I wouldn't say that Lin and Taufik demolish him. G
What I am saying is that Lin and Taufik have the ABILITY to demolish Boonsak. Like Taufik did in the Athens Olympics and Lin did in 05 World cup. So it is not necessary that Boonsak will lose easily each time. Just a wild guess anyway. Since Boonsak is a very complete first level player, having the ability to demolish Boonsak proves that Lin, Taufik and LCW are exceptional in some aspects.
I think if Boosak under training by Li Mao or any great MS coach, he really could become a great MS player. And can have the same level with LD, Taufik or LCW. He is really good.... but he really needs better coach.
