You have to be a full-time Douglas student during the spring 2005 semester, with a minimum course load of 9 credits.

hey, you can get to train or even partner up with Aki, I heard she might be on the team. Little badrad has already been recruited for year 2005/06 at Douglas.

Hi, I would like to join the badminton team at douglas this upcoming semester. I was wondering what days are the training schedules held so i wont conflict with my classes. Also, what is the level of competition like for college/university games. I consider myself to be an intermediate player. I started playing badminton 2 years ago, and have been hooked into the badminton world ever since. I used to play for burnaby central so i know a few ppl at this site

If you're already a Douglas student then you should seek to join now. I believe they've already begun training. I heard they train on Thursdays and Saturdays, and sometimes Sundays. But I'm sure JChen can tell you the details.

The college level in BC for men usually ranges from upper intermediate to provincial. Quite a large range in standard. However, Douglas usually fields one of the stronger teams, so it also depends on which college team you're trying to get into. Obviously the stronger college teams will be harder to get into, as suppose to teams like the University College of the Cariboo where anyone who's willing to show up will make the team :p. For women, the range is even broader, going as low as beginners up to provincial level players.

How did lil badrad get roped into that? :p

Training with Aki isn't a selling point... been doing that for a while now. That's when she's not too lazy to show up! :p Hmmmm just like someone else I know who has misplaced their badminton priorities :D *HINT HINT KNUDGE KNUDGE* Hahahahahaha~~

Please contact me via MSN or ICQ for I cannot disclose the practice times here or else there would be a flood of non-douglas people coming out wanting to practice with the team. (as one of the previous post have indicated  )
