    3 days of time? I can already make more than 300 judgements on that since normally I can tell you the results within 5 seconds! (per racket) :cool:

    Just post your question (with pictures) in here and someone will help you out. :)

    The safest way is to buy from reputable retailers (local or online) or trustworthy personnel. Purchase racket on ebay, etc might save $$$, but the chance get ripped off by a fake seller is quite big as well.

    There's no 100% guarantee for any of us to identify all fakes. To be worse, teh seller could simply post a pic of real racket, but give u a crappy fake at the end... :(

    Try to check the serial number just above the grip.
    its actually the date the racquet was made.
    should look something like this

    XXYYAZWW

    XX= Day
    YY= Month
    A= Some random number
    Z= Year
    WW= Country code eg. UK

    (This can be found in the article in the main page which is here)

    just look at the serial number. if its has one and engrave, its not a fake.. if the serial number is just a paint or without serial.. its fake or overruns!! ( applies only to yonex rackets;) )

    the date code is DDMMYxCC. you have the Y and the mystery digit reversed.

    that no longer applies nowadays. faker manufacturers are able to forge the serial number quite convincingly recently.
