hi everyone! im a addict in terms of badminton!! recently move here in san jose.. is there anyone who can show me around san jose badminton courts and meet other people whom i can play with??

Hey!! There are a lot of us Bay Area folk here including the owner of Badminton Central. I usually play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday now because of school, but I'll be adding another day to the mix once everything settles down again. I'm usually at Bintang, here's the website www.bintangbadminton.com the address is there.

You've just hit the jackpot, the bay area gang is huge in BC!

Make sure you stick in here often, as you will meet lots of people like you !

Speaking about the owner of BC, you'll catch him playing at Bintang sometimes. Just post a bit in the Places to Play area and say where you'll be playing. I'm sure a few BC players will go to join.

hehehe i guess its not that popular here compared to manila! specially in the makati area where i worked before.. almost every corner has a badminton court and almost everbody is playin.. i guess im just missing my group there..

aaahh! oh, you'll get along just fine. consider the number of san jose badminton lovers in THIS forum, it's not hard to think how many others who also dig the sport, but just haven't discovered BC.

oh well, i guess your right.. maybe after a few months and ill have a group to play with.. and btw, im planning to go back there next year to get some paperworks done.. ill guess im not gonna miss them at all! hehe

im 15 and iv enjoyed badminton for about 2 years and there's no badminton team at my high school but im dying to play. how old do u have to be to play at this place? whats the atmosphere like there?

.........What high school do you go to? That really sucks that you don't have a team to play on. Maybe you should go to your sports administration and request them to add it next year..............
