    As a child he used to practice badminton in his bedroom by dragging his toy boxes in front of the wall to act as a net and he would then volley a ping pong ball against the wall, sometimes for up to an hour and a half and believes this helped in the development of his skills and reaction better than anything else.     According to IBF, his birthdate is August 10th, 1981. So, he just turned 24 this year. In AE'99, he was 17 going on 18.

    taufik almost broke the rudy hartono's record as the youngest ae men single champ, taufik qualified to ae final 2 times in a row (1999/peter gade and 2000/xia xu ze)

    How old is peter gade actually?
    When will he retire? I hope not so early. Coz I still want to see him playing and win the big tournament title.

    I think Peter's time to win a major title is approaching. He's been steadily improving since his injury, getting back to the level where he was before. I see him now with some of the best results he's had since his come back. Next year will be the year!
